BuildPulse Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

1. About this Privacy Policy

BuildPulse is operated by Amur Property Partners.

In this Privacy Policy, “BuildPulse”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Amur Property Partners in connection with the BuildPulse website and proposed BuildPulse service.

BuildPulse is currently developing a service intended to help Australian installation and service businesses generate repeat work from completed jobs through QR service tags, customer service pages and maintenance reminders.

At this stage, the BuildPulse website primarily allows people and businesses to:

  • learn about the proposed BuildPulse service;
  • register interest in the BuildPulse pilot;
  • participate in product research;
  • request information or early access; and
  • communicate with us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information through the BuildPulse website and related communications.

We handle personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. Personal information we collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with BuildPulse.

When you register interest in BuildPulse, we may collect:

  • your name;
  • business name;
  • email address;
  • mobile telephone number;
  • primary trade or industry;
  • information you voluntarily provide about your business;
  • information about potential servicing, maintenance or repeat work;
  • product feedback;
  • comments or questions;
  • your communication preferences; and
  • records of any consent you provide.

When you communicate with us, we may collect:

  • your contact details;
  • the contents of your message;
  • records of emails, SMS messages or telephone calls;
  • product feedback;
  • interview or survey responses; and
  • other information you choose to provide.

When you visit the BuildPulse website, some technical information may be collected automatically, including:

  • your Internet Protocol address;
  • browser type;
  • device type;
  • operating system;
  • approximate location derived from your IP address;
  • referring website;
  • pages viewed;
  • links selected;
  • date and time of access;
  • form submission source;
  • cookie or similar technical identifiers; and
  • information used to identify technical errors, spam, misuse or security threats.

We do not seek to use this information to identify you unnecessarily.

Information we do not currently collect

The public BuildPulse website does not currently provide the complete BuildPulse service.

At this stage, we do not ordinarily collect through the public website:

  • homeowners’ installation records;
  • customer property service histories;
  • equipment serial numbers;
  • warranty documents;
  • payment card details;
  • active service-tag data; or
  • QR-tag scan histories relating to customer installations.

We intend to update this Privacy Policy before the full BuildPulse platform begins collecting or processing those categories of information.

3. How we collect personal information

We generally collect personal information directly from you when you:

  • submit a website form;
  • register interest in the BuildPulse pilot;
  • contact us;
  • participate in an interview, survey or product demonstration;
  • provide product feedback;
  • subscribe to updates; or
  • otherwise interact with BuildPulse.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically through website hosting systems, server logs, cookies, security systems or analytics services.

We may receive information from someone acting on behalf of a business, such as an employee registering their employer’s interest in the BuildPulse pilot.

Please do not provide personal information about another person unless you are authorised to do so and it is reasonably necessary.

4. Why we collect and use personal information

We may collect and use personal information to:

  • process pilot and early-access registrations;
  • respond to enquiries;
  • contact people about their expression of interest;
  • arrange product demonstrations, interviews or research sessions;
  • understand how installation and service businesses manage previous customers;
  • validate demand for BuildPulse;
  • develop and improve the proposed service;
  • identify which trades and workflows BuildPulse should support;
  • provide product, pilot and launch updates where permitted;
  • operate, maintain and improve the website;
  • understand website usage and form completion;
  • identify duplicate, fraudulent or automated submissions;
  • maintain the security of our systems;
  • administer our business records;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We will not use personal information for a materially different purpose unless we have permission or are otherwise permitted or required by law.

5. Pilot registration and communications

Submitting a BuildPulse pilot or early-access form allows us to contact you about:

  • your registration;
  • your interest in BuildPulse;
  • possible participation in product research;
  • product demonstrations;
  • pilot opportunities; and
  • information reasonably connected with your request.

Contact that is reasonably necessary to respond to your registration is separate from consent to receive broader promotional communications.

Where required, we will obtain consent before sending ongoing marketing emails or SMS messages.

You may withdraw your marketing consent at any time.

Commercial electronic messages sent by BuildPulse will identify BuildPulse or the relevant sending business, provide appropriate contact information and include a functional unsubscribe method.

Please avoid sending sensitive or unnecessary information through general website forms.

Where required by law, we will investigate eligible data breaches and notify affected individuals and relevant regulators.

10. How long we retain information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for:

  • the purpose for which it was collected;
  • legitimate BuildPulse business activities;
  • product development and research;
  • security and record-keeping; or
  • applicable legal obligations.

Pilot and early-access information may be retained while:

  • BuildPulse remains under development;
  • you remain interested in participating;
  • we continue communicating with you about the service;
  • the information remains reasonably useful for product research; or
  • retention is required for legal, security or administrative purposes.

Where a person does not become a BuildPulse customer and there has been no meaningful interaction for 24 months, we will ordinarily delete or de-identify their pilot information unless there is a legitimate reason to retain it.

You may request deletion of your information at any time. We will consider the request subject to any legal or legitimate retention requirements.
